About us

Our background

Why we are here

Mission

To dignify family caregiving as a pillar of the healthcare system.

Vision

We envision a world where everyone is cared for.

Values

Another way is possible, it just hasn’t been imagined. We apply our collective creative force to change how we support and dignify the work of family caregivers and ensure more people in more places can age with ease.

Caregiving is hard, and caregivers need care. We identify deeply with our audiences because we’ve lived and understand their pains and frustrations. We design, refine, pursue, and invest with the caregivers’ journey in mind.

The world just doesn’t work without caregivers. The quality and model of care matters. We raise the bar not just for the support and training of caregivers, but for how the world sees and respects family caregiving as a critical part of economic, social, and cultural thriving.

Our caregivers, clients, and frontline staff come first. We listen and learn from them. They keep us informed and enable us to deliver the right tools and services for their communities.

Self-reliance is a myth. We need each other to thrive, and at Nolia, we embrace our shared humanity. It is through our interdependence and mutuality that we can overcome the greatest obstacles and achieve the best outcomes.

The folks behind the company

With nearly a decade of experience as a product leader, Liz has played pivotal roles in shaping pioneering companies like Amazon Care, Vesta (formerly Hometeam), and Venture for America.

Her leadership in scaling innovative home health and virtual primary care services underscores her commitment to transform healthcare delivery. She was inspired to start Nolia after her own experiences with caregiving for a parent and being frustrated by the lack of support. She’s on a mission to transform how caregiving is valued in America —from ignored and taken for granted to indispensable.

A global operations & customer journey leader and former SVP of Operations at Limeade (now WebMD), Kate has a passion for building mission driven businesses to delight and serve clients.

As a member of the ‘sandwich generation,’ Kate lives daily with the struggles and inadequacies she feels as a remote caregiver to her Mom. Her quest for support and guidance opened her eyes to the vast and urgent need for a solution that allows the millions of caregivers to deliver the quality of care they and their loved ones so deserve. Kate loves spending time with her family especially on warm, sunny beaches.
